Tennis Kids to Serve Up Kep Clean

As part of an environmental awareness drive focused on public hygiene and clean air, Cambodia-registered NGO Three Hearts Foundation (THF) and one of its partners, Tennis Cambodia, will jointly organise the annual Keep Kep Clean program in the coastal town of nearly 50,000 people this Saturday.

Hundreds of tennis-playing kids and supporters will be among the 2000 participants voluntarily joining the nearly four-hour mop-up campaign, fully supported by the Kep Municipality in various parts of the town including popular locations like the crab market, the beach and the port.

“The THF has come up with two new schemes this year. The first is to make available to Songkum Reasniyum Secondary School an incinerator to burn the garbage and the second is to popularise a theme song about public health and cleanliness that will inspire the residents,” said managing director of THF Hisae Arai, a former Miss Japan and Tennis Cambodia’s global goodwill ambassador who is also the goodwill ambassador of Kep province.
